Travel | What To See In Nami Island

Nami Island

After Petite France, our next stop was Nami Island.  But before we went to Nami Island (since you need to ride the ferry going to the island), we stopped by the Ktopland Bungee Jumping.  Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of it since I was busy filming my friend jumping off.  She's the only one who went ahead and jumps since I'm afraid of heights.  We had to wait a bit as they are assisting those who want to jump by batches.

Nami Island Boat Ride

We headed to the ferry port to go to Nami Island. For those who are adventurous, you could try Zipline going to Nami Island.  Before boarding the Ferry, you would need to buy the ticket and the visa at the ticket counter just outside the port.  As usual, the boat is super packed and it is raining by the way.  As soon as I arrived at Nami Island, I was a little bit disappointed as there a lot of people and you will feel tired just by looking at everyone.  We still get to enjoy the view though and of course seeing an ostrich for the first time.

If you are a fan of winter sonata then I would suggest you might enjoy going there.  But for those who just want to go because it is a tourist attraction, I would not recommend going there as it is really packed.  The place is overrated and you couldn't even get a decent picture that doesn't have a lot of people.  Try going to the Garden of Morning Calm instead.  You can read my post about the Garden of Morning Calm here.

We also wanted to go to the Garden of Morning Calm but our time is limited as we need to reach the bus going to Gapyeong Station on time.
